A great holiday (on paper)
We love a holiday as much as the next odd person (even though with the launch of HOO it feels like a million years since we had one). World Duty Free wanted to showcase a selection of their holiday must haves in a fun and playful beauty special campaign running in The Sunday Times Style in digital, social and in print.
We could easily have booked a flight to St Lucia and used the shoot as an excuse to relax around the pool for a week (‘yes, Mr Client, we’re working really hard’). But it just seemed a bit, well, boring. So we had a think about what the best holiday experience would look like.
‘They all sound good on paper,’ we said – and that’s when it hit us.
Let’s do the best holiday ever. On paper.
We commissioned paper artist Hattie Newman to create a miniature hand-made pool set in which the products could interact and shine. She might still have the blisters from using her scalpel so much for cutting out reams of paper that day.
